The webinar will introduce animal models of human disease, focusing on the genetic neurodevelopmental disorder Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). We will explore how using the Drosophila fly and the mouse can help researchers unlock the molecular mechanisms behind cognitive function and behavior, and identify novel therapeutic approaches.
Intended for high school students interested in the biomedical sciences, this webinar is open to Greek high school seniors, A-Level students, and second-year International Baccalaureate students.
