In today's rapidly advancing landscape of healthcare and biomedical research, the process of bringing a new drug to market requires a combination of science, technology, creativity and innovation.
Drug development, from the initial identification of potential therapeutic compounds to the final approval of the drugs to the market, is a complex and multi-faceted process, encompassing various phases and requiring the close cooperation of many disciplines.
In this webinar, we will offer you a behind-the-scenes look of the required collaborative efforts that support the early-stage drug discovery and the pre-clinical drug development process in the Biomedical Sciences Research Center “Alexander Fleming”.
As an example, this webinar will describe a drug-repurposing project focusing on the identification of small molecule therapeutics against the pathogenic activation of fibroblasts in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
