In contrast to current concepts, the researchers have shown that TNFR2 on non-hematopoietic cells modulates regulatory T-cell function, providing novel insights into the mechanisms that drive MS pathology, and supporting future agonistic targeting of TNFR2 as a rational approach for the management of MS.
