Fleming Researcher Prof. George Kollias has been awarded the first Galien Scientific Research Award at the Prix Galien Greece 2015. The prize recognizes his seminal contributions towards the development of biological therapies for rheumatoid arthritis and the discovery of novel disease pathways in animal models of chronic inflammation and autoimmunity.
