A Position for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher is available in the lab of Dr. George Kollias at BSRC Fleming. The project aims at dissecting the molecular mechanisms underlying innate activation of synovial fibroblasts and discovering early causalities driving chronic arthritis. Selected scientists will join an interactive research group that operates across molecular biology and genetics, systems biology and disease therapy.
The position is funded by the GSRT ERC project INNATE FIBROBLAST (ERC-06) co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund) and Greece Operational Program 'Education and Lifelong Learning' - NSFR 2007-2013.
Candidates should have a PhD in Life Sciences and a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, mouse genetics, biochemistry or immunology. At least one high impact, first-author publication is required.
