Position ArchivePositions for one (1) postdoctoral scientist and one (1) research technician are available at Biomedcode Hellas S.A. in the context of project OmicRA, which is co-financed by the European Union and Greece Operational Program 'Human Resources Development' - NSFR 2007-2013 - European Social Fund, which aims to identify novel biomarkers for arthritis through pharmacogenomics analysis using a humanised mouse model.
Position 1: Experienced researcher (Duration 24 months)
Requirements
• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences.
• Specialization in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or related disciplines
• Lab experience of 5-8 years in an academic or biotech/pharmaceutical setting.
• Expertise in animal handling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Excellent organization, observation and troubleshooting skills.
• Also desired: Expertise in bioinformatics, pharmacology, immunology, gene expression profiling, preclinical evaluation of pharmaceuticals, target validation and animal models of disease

Position 2: Research technician (Duration 21 months)
Requirements
• Biologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• Specialization in Molecular Biology or Immunology
• Lab experience of at least 2 years (including Master's thesis if it includes bench work) in an academic or biotech/pharmaceutical setting
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Good oral and writing skills in Greek and English
• Also desired: Master's degree in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences, Experience with animal handling, pharmacology, immunology, gene expression studies, or histopathology
