A research assistant position is available at Biomedcode s.a. in Greece, under European FP7 Marie Curie ITN CodeAge ( http://itn-codeage.uni-koeln.de/ ). The project aim at understanding the role of DNA repair and damage response mechanisms in disease and aging using mouse models. The position is for 32 months and available immediately.

Requirements
• M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or related fields with specialisation preferably in molecular biology or immunology
• Lab experience of at least 2 years (including Master's thesis if it includes bench work) in an academic or biotech/pharmaceutical setting
• Experience with animal handling, pharmacology, immunology, gene expression studies, or histopathology will be considered an asset
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English are also required
Specific Marie-Curie requirements
Candidates must be in the first four years of their research careers and have not yet been awarded a doctoral degree. At the time of recruitment candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Greece for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date. Short stays such as holidays and/or compulsory national service are not taken into account.
