We are seeking highly motivated young scientists to develop ambitious research projects aiming at the elucidation of genome maintenance mechanisms and their link to human pathogenesis. The projects will focus on the molecular events governing the association of epigenetic mechanisms and transcription with DNA repair and DNA damage response pathways and their biological impact on cancer or ageing-related diseases.
The project is implemented under the "ARISTEIA" Action of the "OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME EDUCATION AND LIFELONG LEARNING" and is co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Resources.
Applicants for the Pre-doctoral positions should hold an MSc degree in Biological or related Sciences. Applicants for the Post-doctoral positions should hold a PhD degree in Life Sciences.
All applicants should have an excellent knowledge of the English language. Strong background in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, genomics or stem/iPS cell biology will be beneficial for the post-doctoral positions.
Applicants should send a full CV along with a short description of their qualifications/interests and the names of two referees to
