A position for a highly motivated post-doctoral scientist is available in the lab of Dr. George Kollias. The project aims at the molecular dissection of pathways mediating the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory diseases in animal models. The successful candidate will be a member of a highly interactive research group that operates across immunology, molecular biology, systems biology and animal modeling.
Candidates should have a PhD in Life Sciences, and proven ability to tackle complex problems in an independent manner. At least one high impact, first-author publication is required. Expertise in immunology, systems biology and/or animal modeling will be considered an asset. Researchers will have the opportunity to do research in a state-of-the art environment based on merit, scientific excellence and innovation, as well as to benefit from the Center's Core Facilities (including Animal house, Expression profiling, Protein Chemistry, Transgenesis, Genotyping and Phenotyping, BioIT as well as Technology Transfer).
