A 2-year Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Strouboulis lab within the framework of the HEM_ID FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network to work on the functional characterization of interactions of the DNMT1 DNA methyltransferase with key hematopoietic transcription factors in erythroid cells.
Requirements:
• Essential experience with tissue culture, biochemical and molecular biology techniques. Experience with genomics and/or hematopoietic assays and/or RNAi would be desirable.
• At the time of recruitment, applicants must be in possession of a doctoral degree, or must have between four and five years of full-time equivalent research experience since obtaining a Masters degree.
• Applicants may be nationals of any Country but must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Greece for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.
• Documented fluency in English.
