A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the group of Dr. George Kollias at the Institute of Immunology of BSRC Fleming in Athens, Greece. Building on the group’s recently published work (Tzima et al., J. Exp. Med., 2009), the successful candidate will be working on the characterization of the molecular mechanism of IRF-3’s interaction with heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1). Previous sound experience in similar projects will be necessary.
The candidate will be part of a highly interactive research group that operates across immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry and animal models of disease.
